  • Mayank Jalan-CMD- Keventer Agro was conferred the prestigious ET 40 under 40 award. Mr. Jalan securing a place in this annual list reinforced his position as one of India's best entrepreneur and recognized his efforts in building the organization.

  • Keventer UHT launched Tetra packed milk in 1 litre and portion pack across 3 variants – Toned, double toned and Standard Milk. Grow Up. Drink Up with Metro Milk campaign launched.
  • Company set its foot in the neighbouring states of Assam, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Chhattisgarh, adding a new revenue stream from what is Eastern India’s largest UHT Milk plant.
  • Mayank Jalan opened up his office for the administrative authorities to set up a control room and provided NGOs all the support to carry out relief work for the survivors of the Majherhat Bridge collapse incident in Kolkata, September 2018.

  • Investment in Keventer Agro Ltd., by a renowned private equity firm Mandala Capital. Post this the Company began to focus on scale and growth under the leadership of Mayank Jalan with renewed vigour.
  • Launch of Frooti Fizz and Frozen Sausage in four variants, Cheese and Onion, Breakfast, Smoked Frankfurters, Pepper and Herbs.
  • Backward integration of banana business, consolidation of Dairy Business and strengthening presence in Metro Dairy.
  • Keventer Agro Limited attains 100% ownership of Metro Dairy Limited.

  • Keventer Fresh Banana Ripening unit started operations at Siliguri.

  • Metro Dairy set up an ice cream plant in the Malda Food Park, in North Bengal. The plant has a capacity to produce 10,000 litres of ice cream and frozen dessert per day.

  • Keventer Agro entered the Dairy business as one of the 3 partners in India's first joint sector Dairy Project – Metro Dairy. Funded by the World Bank under the Operation Flood Phase III Programme.
