Ingredients

  • 4 Keventer ready-to-make Achari Paratha
  • 10 Shallots/small onion
  • 15 Red chilli
  • 1 teaspoon tamarind (small gooseberry size)
  • 4 Garlic
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard
  • 1 Pinch asafoetida

Method

How to make Achari Paratha with Red Chilli Chutney

    First, start to prepare your chutney. Take a blender and smoothly grind red chilli, salt, onion, garlic and tamarind. You can add little water if needed

    Now, heat oil in a pan to temper and add mustard, asafoetida into it. Then, pour the ground mixture into the pan.

    Cook the mixture in low fame for around 5 to 6 minutes until the raw smell no longer exists. Serve in a bowl and set aside.

    Once your chutney is ready, it's time to make the paratha, heat the oil in a pan and pan cook Keventer ready to make achari paratha for 2 minutes. Now, turn over the paratha and don't forget to press each side gently using a spatula. Cook each side until golden brown and repeat with other parathas.

    Serve Keventer achari paratha and with the tomato chilli chutney and enjoy
