Chairman and Managing Director

Mayank Jalan is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Keventer Group, a Kolkata-based business conglomerate with a strong presence across FMCG and real estate. Under his leadership, Keventer has evolved into one of Eastern India’s fastest-growing food and real estate enterprises, driven by strategic expansion, operational excellence, and a long-term vision for sustainable growth.

Mayank leads the Keventer Group’s diversified portfolio across food processing and real estate. Keventer Agro Limited, the Group’s food processing arm, operates across multiple high-growth categories including dairy, bananas, frozen foods, export of food commodities, and franchise partnerships for beverage and hospitality brands—cementing its position as a key player in Eastern India’s FMCG landscape.

In real estate, Mayank has been instrumental in positioning Keventer Realty as a leading developer with landmark projects such as Urbana, Crosswinds, 88 East, and Keventer Rishra, along with the upcoming flagship premium commercial destination, Keventer One. With developments across Kolkata, Chennai, and Delhi, Keventer Realty continues to shape urban skylines and redefine modern lifestyles.

Beyond business operations, Mayank has played a significant leadership role across national and industry bodies. His affiliations include serving as President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of FICCI West Bengal, Chairman of multiple CII national committees, and membership in NITI Aayog’s Expert Group for Agriculture and Allied Activities. He has also served as Honorary Consul of Ireland in Kolkata and held leadership roles in entrepreneurial and sports institutions.

Study

Mayank holds a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance from University College London and the London School of Economics. He is further strengthening his leadership and strategic capabilities through the Owner/President Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School, having successfully completed two of the three semesters.

Mr. Akshay Poddar

Mr. Akshay Poddar is a distinguished business leader and a scion of the renowned Poddar family of Kolkata, promoters of the Adventz Group. Deeply rooted in the legacy of one of India’s most respected industrial families, he plays a pivotal role in advancing the group’s vision of growth, innovation, and nation-building.

As a key member of the Group’s leadership, Mr. Poddar also serves as Director across multiple Adventz Group companies, contributing strategic direction across diverse industries. He is additionally a member of the Governing Body of BITS Pilani, where he helps guide one of India’s premier educational and research institutions.

The Adventz Group has a rich and dynamic heritage, with successful businesses across sectors including fertilizers, agri-inputs, heavy engineering, process engineering, sugar, consumer products, real estate, furniture, and investments. Gourav Agarwal

Director

Gaurav Agarwala is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with over two decades of experience spanning manufacturing, hospitality, renewable energy, and international trade. A graduate of Boston University’s School of Management with a concentration in Finance and International Management, he has successfully founded and led multiple ventures, including Animark Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Neora Hydro Ltd., Shracom Pvt. Ltd., and Gama Hospitality Ltd. His businesses reflect a strong focus on innovation, sustainable growth, and strategic partnerships. Gaurav is also an active member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Kolkata where he has held several leadership positions.

Parvana Mayank Jalan

Non-Executive Director

Parvana Mayank Jalan is a Non-Executive Director on the Board of our Company.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in arts from the University of Maine at Machias. She has completed foundation and advanced level courses in image consultancy from the Association of Image Consultants International, Singapore. She also completed advanced level course in image consultancy from the London Image Institute.

She has been a director on our Board for over eight years and has experience in the fields of human resource management, international trade and project management. She has previously worked with Optimum Image Institute.

Saurabh Jajodia

Chief Executive Officer

Saurabh Jajodia is the Head of Packaged Foods & Beverage of our Company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (honours) from the St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. He started his career with our Company and has over 17 years of experience in operations, general management, sales and marketing. He joined our Company on March 15, 2004.

Sanjay Gupta

Chief Financial Officer

Sanjay Gupta is the Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of our Company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (honours) from the University of Calcutta. He is a chartered accountant and a company secretary and is also an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is also a qualified cost and work accountant.

He has over 15 years of experience in secretarial, finance and accounting functions. Prior to joining our Company, he has worked with Vindhya Telelinks Limited. He joined our Company on August 14, 2006.

Sanjay Dua

CHRO & Chief Executive - Sales & Marketing [Frozen Food & Icecream]

Sanjay Dua is the Head of Human Resource for Keventer Group. He also heads the Frozen Food and Ice Cream of our company.

He holds a bachelor’s degree of science (honours) from the University of Calcutta. He has over 34 years of experience in sales, marketing and human resource activities. Prior to joining our Company, he has worked with Bausch & Lomb India Limited, Blow Plast Limited, Pepsi Foods Limited and DIGO India. He joined our Company on November 3, 2003 and has been a core member of our team since.

Sashank Shah

Head of Corporate Finance, Strategy and Investor Relations

Sashank Shah is the Head of Finance, Strategy and Investor Relations of our Company.

He holds a post graduate diploma in management from the T.A. Pai Management Institute. He has over 10 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and structured finance. Prior to joining our Company, he has worked with Deloitte, HSBC and J.P. Morgan. He is currently Director in Kolkata One Excelton (JV with Tata Housing – “88 EAST”).

Suparna Mucadum

Head of Marketing & Brand Custodian

Suparna Mucadum serves as the Head of Marketing and Brand Custodian at our company. A Bachelor of Home Science from Jadavpur University, Suparna brings over 25 years of extensive experience in marketing, branding, managing multiple brands, advertising, media planning, and market research. Before joining our team, she made significant contributions at renowned advertising agencies such as JWT, Rediffusion Brand Solutions Pvt Ltd., Genesis Advertising Pvt Ltd, and Grey Worldwide.

With expertise in crafting brand strategy and fostering consumer engagement, Suparna is committed to driving excellence in the FMCG sector. Her focus lies in creating memorable brand experiences and dedicating herself to delivering quality and innovation, advocating for excellence in everyday products.

Surbhit Lihala

VP - Digital Transformation & International Business & Head of Business [Banana]

Surbhit is a seasoned Sales and Marketing professional with substantial international and domestic experience having knowledge across Food and Beverage and Banking and Corporate Services Industry. He has recently pivoted to the role of CIO/CTO/Head Digital Transformation and is actively into gaining knowledge and experience in ERP Implementation, Sales Force Automation, Conversational Commerce for Vendor and Customer, B2B and B2C digital commerce, Finance Automation, Vendor and Customer Portal, QR code integration.

Specialties: Sales, Marketing, Negotiation, International Fairs and Exhibitions, Strategy.

He is also a fitness enthusiast and marathon runner.

Rajesh Variar V.V is the Vice President – Sales at Keventer Agro Limited, where he has been a key leader since 2012. With a BSc(H), PGDBM from IMT Ghaziabad, and an LLB, Rajesh brings over 25 years of rich experience in sales, distribution, and business expansion. His professional journey spans notable organizations such as Heinz, Whirlpool, and PepsiCo, where he honed his expertise across the FMCG landscape.

A seasoned marketing professional, Rajesh has built a strong foundation in distribution, supply chain management, and food processing—areas that have deepened his understanding of technology, innovation, and future-ready business practices. His strategic insights and operational strengths have significantly contributed to Keventer’s growth and market presence.

Beyond his corporate accomplishments, Rajesh is passionate about polity, law, and social service, reflecting a commitment to societal development. His personal interests extend to soccer, music, and travelling, adding balance and depth to his dynamic professional persona.

Swagatam Khandelwal

Company Secretary & Compliance Officer

Swagatam Khandelwal is the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of our Company.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Honours) from the University of Calcutta. She is a company secretary and is also an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She has 14 years of experience in secretarial and compliance functions. Prior to joining our Company, she has worked with Edward Keventer Private Limited and at other places. She joined our Company on September 10, 2021.

Prathikrit Naha

Sr. Vice President - Operations & Group IR

Mr. Pathikrit Naha is an accomplished business leader with extensive expertise in operations management, human resource management and group industrial relations.

With a career spanning over 35 years his strategic vision and operational acumen have been instrumental in driving growth and efficiency across the company’s diverse business segments. A law graduate with degrees in management , he has participated in numerous training programs. His educational background, combined with his extensive industry experience, makes him a valuable member to our team.

He is also a member of various professional bodies like NIPM, NHRD, ISTD and Bar council of WB.

Dr. Kallol Kumar Pramanik

Vice President - Operations [DAIRY]

A first class first, Gold medallist, Dairy Technology graduate from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal, he obtained Doctoral Degree in Dairy Bacteriology from West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences and carried out research in the field of Genetic Engineering of Lactic Acid Bacteria.

He initiated a career in the Food Industry with Kwality Ice Creams(I) Ltd. Also worked with Kalyani Yeast, Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation and Amul Dairy. Served as Head of Quality Assurance, Milk Procurement, Research & Development and Projects. With a total of about 31 years of experience in the food industry.

A certified ISO 22000 Lead Auditor, he obtained training from Dalum College of Food and Technology, Denmark; The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel; AOTS, Japan and IIM, Ahmedabad to mention a few.

He is a Life Member of The Indian Dairy Association.

Ajeet Kumar Singh

Ajeet Kumar Singh is the General Manager Sales – Dairy Division (Pouch Milk) of our company. He holds an MBA Degree in Marketing from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore (Tamil Nadu). He has over 20 Years of experience in Strategic Planning, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Channel Management, Distribution Management and Manpower Management. He has the experience of working with Companies like Mother Dairy and ITC Ltd.

He joined our company on 1st April 2024.
