Mayank Jalan is the Chairman and Managing Director of the Keventer Group, a Kolkata-based business conglomerate with a strong presence across FMCG and real estate. Under his leadership, Keventer has evolved into one of Eastern India’s fastest-growing food and real estate enterprises, driven by strategic expansion, operational excellence, and a long-term vision for sustainable growth.
Work
Mayank leads the Keventer Group’s diversified portfolio across food processing and real estate. Keventer Agro Limited, the Group’s food processing arm, operates across multiple high-growth categories including dairy, bananas, frozen foods, export of food commodities, and franchise partnerships for beverage and hospitality brands—cementing its position as a key player in Eastern India’s FMCG landscape.
In real estate, Mayank has been instrumental in positioning Keventer Realty as a leading developer with landmark projects such as Urbana, Crosswinds, 88 East, and Keventer Rishra, along with the upcoming flagship premium commercial destination, Keventer One. With developments across Kolkata, Chennai, and Delhi, Keventer Realty continues to shape urban skylines and redefine modern lifestyles.
Beyond business operations, Mayank has played a significant leadership role across national and industry bodies. His affiliations include serving as President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of FICCI West Bengal, Chairman of multiple CII national committees, and membership in NITI Aayog’s Expert Group for Agriculture and Allied Activities. He has also served as Honorary Consul of Ireland in Kolkata and held leadership roles in entrepreneurial and sports institutions.
Study
Mayank holds a first-class degree in Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance from University College London and the London School of Economics. He is further strengthening his leadership and strategic capabilities through the Owner/President Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School, having successfully completed two of the three semesters.
