Paneer Paratha With Mango Chunda

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack of Keventer Paneer Paratha (400g)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or ghee, butter

For the Mango Chunda

  • Shredded raw mango – 2 - 4
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp saffron
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Get your Keventer Paneer Paratha ready for the recipe.

  • 1 Place a non-stick pan of fire with 1 tsp ghee/ vegetable oil
  • 2

    Once the oil is hot, place the Keventer Paneer Paratha on the Pan and cook for 2 minutes

    Turn over the paratha in between and fry evenly on both sides pressing gently with a spatula till the parathas are well-cooked on both sides and appear golden brown.

    To enhance the taste, add butter on top before serving.

For the Mango Chunda

    Take the shredded raw mangoes and add it in a pan with 1.5 cups of sugar and ¼ tsp salt and cook on low flame till the sugar melts and mixes with the shredded raw mangoes. Keep stirring on low heat and do not allow the sugar to crystalize.

    Once the bubbles appear in the mixture keep stirring till the gravy thickens to 1-2 thread consistency and then switch off the heat. Don’t let the mixture harden by over cooking.

    Now add ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp roasted cumin powder and salt and mix well at room temperature.

    Your mango chunda is ready to be served with your yummy Keventer Paneer Parathas. You can store the excess chunda in a glass for months!
